Product Description
FUNCTION
Ready-to-use, liquid-form and organic corrosion inhibitor for zinc and alloys.
Can be used in near neutral-to-alkaline aqueous solutions. Protects also ferrous metals, tin, copper and alloys.
APPLICATION
Mainly used for :
• Aqueous cleaners or paint removers being in contact with zinc and galvanized substrates ;
• Maintenance products or renovators for zinc (polish, detergents, …) ;
• Metallic waterborne coatings formulations containing zinc pigments/flakes.
• Aqueous formulations packed into metal cans, to avoid packaging corrosion.
FEATURES
• Fully water-soluble liquid
• Non-foaming
• VOC-free
• Non-flammable
• Free of bore, amine or nitrite
INCORPORATION / DOSAGE
Can be directly added to the solution to be treated, without any pre-mix or neutralization step.
Range of pH : 6 to 10
Indicative use dosages (% of total end-solution weight)
• 1 to 2%, into cleaners ;
• 0,2 to 1% for metal can protection.
